One Big Red Shelf

Two weeks ago I taunted my friends on facebook and posted this picture.

Flea Market Find. Got Plans.

A humongous shelf just asking to be used. What did I do with this monstrosity? Well I transformed it into some garden art/storage. We put some polyurethane on it and put it on the backside of the garage. The perfect country shelf for a mere $15.00. Finally, a place to store all my garden utensils in one convenient location.

The perfect shaded spot to hide some of
my tender plants from the pounding sun

I can picture a whole top shelf of antique watering cans.
Perhaps next year….

I’ll be developing this space more. A little antique garden nook for me.

A hidden place for all my stuff!

Thanks Antiques Galore Gal! Our garden season is almost to an end here in NY but next year I'm scouring flea markets to make this my garden nook.
