Local and regional antique collectors take note: the 73rd Annual Westfield Antique Show is taking place on July 16 and 17 at Eason Hall in Westfield. According to the organizers (Chautauqua County Historical Society), this is the longest continuously running antique show in the U.S. and its located in the heart of Antique Country – Westfield, N.Y.

WESTFIELD, N.Y. – Antique collectors take notice: the longest continuously running Antique Show in the United States is set to take place the third weekend in July in Westfield, N.Y.
The 73rd Annual Westfield Antique Show will be held July 16 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and July 17 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield, N.Y. The event will feature over 20 different dealers from five different states.
“This is the longest-running antique show in the United States,” explains organizer John Paul Wolfe, who also serves as the curator of the Chautauqua County Historical Society’s McClurg Museum. “It was started in 1938 by Doc and Edis Shelkey, who were well-known local antique dealers during that era.” Continue reading
